With milling – here, mother and child, on the theme of “rocking the baby” – there is no correcting afterwards.
The image you want to create in this technique has to be precisely memorised and internalised beforehand. I made the models for these images out of modelling clay; they can now only be seen in photographs, as they no longer exist themselves. I hope to develop this technique further one day.
