At first I wasn't particularly fond of original printmaking – weeks of black, hard-to-clean fingernails from the printer's ink.
Then it “got under my skin” – I stayed with this technique for eight years and loved, above all, the quickly made one-offs, my “single prints”, created on an old piece of gutter sheet metal with materials such as pipe cleaners. Further prints on the theme of Vogelmenschen were made on large circuit boards, which were still a sensation at the time.
There are many original prints of mine from that period.
