Lines in motion
Black lines speak to me – already in the action painting of “Kraft-Ausdruck”, painting with black was a pleasurable act.
For a long time I searched for my own, very personal digital black line, taking some of the hardness out of the black as I did – that's how my light-shadow lines (Li-Scha) came about. Where they move within the frame – right, left, thick or thin – always carries meaning for me, and triggers emotions in the viewer depending on their cultural background.
My Li-Scha lines are therefore not only “lines in motion” but “lines in e-motion”: I conduct them into dancing, into harmony, or into strict, geometric form – a relay, and I take over, in every direction!
