Malba
In my Malba objects, the two colours light yellow (light) and black (shadow) – that is, “Li-Scha” – are decisive.
For the “Rhapsodies” object I wrote good wishes on painter's tape – may the rhapsodes carry them up to the heavens with their finest song. The painted shellac records served me, fittingly, as “galaxies” in the firmament.
“Pupa”: a butterfly's chrysalis, or the early stage of an embryo? My own way of giving form.
