Nietage
The image parts aren't glued but joined with rivets. This creates images that grow out into space – detached from the wall, sometimes flat, sometimes built as a deep box. Light plays through the transparent plastic, letting the painting take effect from every side.
These are three-dimensional images and objects made of painted PET: built flat or as a deep box, sometimes on the wall, sometimes free-standing in space. The rivets hold the image parts together without gluing them, letting light play through the transparent material.
